Tech!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello and welcome back, Today I am going to talk about Tech. The first thing I am going to be talking about is the class I am in for Tech I am in the cooking class we've made bread and samosas. Hopefully we get to make some more cool things. Our teacher gave us a book with lots of recipes in it some of them we will make but I really can't wait to make some more good things. Another class I'm looking forward to is movie making because we get to make cool mini movies and small clips about random stuff. Tech has been fun like last year but I was put in sewing not cooking first. Well that's it for today folks talk to you next week.

The fact of the week is ...  

2016 beginning

Hello welcome back. Today I'm talking about the beginning of the year. The first thing we are talking about is friends I got to meet a lot of new people and I've got to play some new things I've never played before like ten second tag. I also can't wait for year 8 CAMP!!! It will be so fun because there will be so much fun challenges like Bridge jumping, kayaking and sleeping in tents for 5 days. Some ideas I would like to try are more fitness time/DODGE BALL The best game ever. Also I would like it if someone would make maths fun not boring as usual so then it would make maths easy to learn.

End of the year!!!

Hello and welcome back to the last blog post of the year we are going to talk about the Holidays and CHRISTMAS!!! (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA). I cant wait for Christmas and the holidays because its Six weeks of relaxing. We already have our tree up and our chimney decorated We even have our first present under it which isn't really a present but food is amazing so to me it counts as food. School ends at 1pm yay not 2:50pm So we get more time to enjoy the rest of the day. In the holidays we are going camping and it will be fun because there is a river that is cold all the time so it's quiet nice in the Summer. Speaking of Summer its finally hot after a few days of rain and cloud lots of cloud. Anyway cant wait for the holidays because I'm the type of person who likes to sleep in so i can sleep in as much as i want and play as much as i can. We also got a brand new BBQ for Christmas mainly for dad but it is really cool and its gray with lots of dials. So now dad can BBQ with one that doesn't stop right when you start or never starts. So cant wait to stop because all the subjects wont be in my mind for a whole six weeks and cant wait to stop maths because it is my least favorite subject because its so boring and hard because 2n=2x2=4 and 4nx2=4x4x2=32. But anyway lets get out of the horrible subject out of our minds. But that's it folks for this year see you next year and have a good holiday. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!          

Big day out

Hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about the big day out it was great last year because we got to go to jungle Rama I hope we are going to there again because it was fun. We got to go on the slide that was fun pushing people off the edge and laying tag. I hope we are going to do another big day out there this year. Well that's it to day folks see you next time.

Year 8

hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about being a Year 8.
The first thing about being a year 8 is HOPEFULLY I'm a house captain of EVANS!!! (The best house in the school). Another thing im looking forward to is the YEAR 8 Camp which Is held in Tongariro at the Hillary outdoors Camp. The camp will be awesome we get to go caving and bridge jumping, camping in the bushes and abseiling. Another thing that will be challenging will be the caving because its dark and hard to see but I really want to see cool things like glow-worms or bats (maybe). But we have to do dishes which is easy for me because I do the dishes at home but its so boring because I do it all the time and having to do the same thing over and over again.
Well in the end being year 8 will be fun and challenging and that's all for today folks see you again.  

Book week

Hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about book week and three events in it that stand out. The first event was when Kate de Goldi came to talk to us about her books and tips for people that want to be authors when they grow up. She went into deep explanation about how her life went and also about how she went into writing. My favourite bit was when she talked to us about her first storeys and even showed us her first sentence she ever wrote.

My second favourite event is the book week parade and it's amazing to see other costumes that are cool but my costume was really cool but it was hard to run in a shirt filled with a pillow and a really nice top coat that cost a lot of money.

My last favourite event is the golden ticket event where you try and find the golden ticket and you win a crunchy bar

books when i was young

Hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about my favorite book when I was young which is called "The Night Before Christmas" which is about a family on Christmas night and the grandmother wakes up and finds Santa in her lounge and he sees her and says shush and with that Santa is gone and he left a lot of presents there.
Another book I read was "Hooray for Fish which is about Fish that is trying to find his mum while meeting all the other fish in the sea there are a lot different kinds of fish there are long fish short fish fat fish skinny fish. Well that's it folks see you next time.
