End of the year!!!

Hello and welcome back to the last blog post of the year we are going to talk about the Holidays and CHRISTMAS!!! (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA). I cant wait for Christmas and the holidays because its Six weeks of relaxing. We already have our tree up and our chimney decorated We even have our first present under it which isn't really a present but food is amazing so to me it counts as food. School ends at 1pm yay not 2:50pm So we get more time to enjoy the rest of the day. In the holidays we are going camping and it will be fun because there is a river that is cold all the time so it's quiet nice in the Summer. Speaking of Summer its finally hot after a few days of rain and cloud lots of cloud. Anyway cant wait for the holidays because I'm the type of person who likes to sleep in so i can sleep in as much as i want and play as much as i can. We also got a brand new BBQ for Christmas mainly for dad but it is really cool and its gray with lots of dials. So now dad can BBQ with one that doesn't stop right when you start or never starts. So cant wait to stop because all the subjects wont be in my mind for a whole six weeks and cant wait to stop maths because it is my least favorite subject because its so boring and hard because 2n=2x2=4 and 4nx2=4x4x2=32. But anyway lets get out of the horrible subject out of our minds. But that's it folks for this year see you next year and have a good holiday. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!          

Big day out

Hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about the big day out it was great last year because we got to go to jungle Rama I hope we are going to there again because it was fun. Year 8

hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about being a Year 8.
The first thing about being a year 8 is HOPEFULLY I'm a house captain of EVANS!!! (The best house in the school). Another thing im looking forward to is the YEAR 8 Camp which Is held in Tongariro at the Hillary outdoors Camp. The camp will be awesome we get to go caving and bridge jumping, camping in the bushes and abseiling. Another thing that will be challenging will be the caving because its dark and hard to see but I really want to see cool things like glow-worms or bats (maybe). But we have to do dishes which is easy for me because I do the dishes at home but its so boring because I do it all the time and having to do the same thing over and over again.
Well in the end being year 8 will be fun and challenging and that's all for today folks see you again.  

Book week

Hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about book week and three events in it that stand out. The first event was when Kate de Goldi came to talk to us about her books and tips for people that want to be authors when they grow up. She went into deep explanation about how her life went and also about how she went into writing. My favourite bit was when she talked to us about her first storeys and even showed us her first sentence she ever wrote.

My second favourite event is the book week parade and it's amazing to see other costumes that are cool but my costume was really cool but it was hard to run in a shirt filled with a pillow and a really nice top coat that cost a lot of money.

My last favourite event is the golden ticket event where you try and find the golden ticket and you win a crunchy bar

books when i was young

Hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about my favorite book when I was young which is called "The Night Before Christmas" which is about a family on Christmas night and the grandmother wakes up and finds Santa in her lounge and he sees her and says shush and with that Santa is gone and he left a lot of presents there.
Another book I read was "Hooray for Fish which is about Fish that is trying to find his mum while meeting all the other fish in the sea there are a lot different kinds of fish there are long fish short fish fat fish skinny fish. Well that's it folks see you next time.

AFL practice

Hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about AFL practice and some of the skills I've learnt. The first skill was drop punt which is an easier way to pass the ball long distances which helps when the field is 100 metres long. But you have to get the kick right so the rules are laces away from faces so it gets the perfect aim. Then you need To have arrow hands pointing down and lastly you need to kick the bottom of the ball so it has a back spin so it cuts through the air and it is easy to catch. My favourite music game and movie

Hello,and welcome back today we are going to talk about my favourite game music and movie. My favourite game is mad max the game it's about a guy called max who is trying to get passed this place called the plains of silence but before he goes to cross it he is ambushed by a guy called lord scrotus and is beaten up and left to die but he finds a machinist called chumbucket who has a car that you can use and through out the game you find convoys oil camps scrap ( witch is the currency) and when you complete the game you get back your car that you had before you met chumbucket. My favourite song is I like it by Enrique Iglesias because it's awesome. My favourite movie is fast and furious seven with Paul walker vin diesel. Furture Job

hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about my future job and what I need in collage to help me get there. So when I grow up I want to be an engineer in cars so I can make cars and I can even help people in the neighbourhood who are having trouble with there cars. The things that will help with this job in collage is art because when you are making the car you will have to make the body of the car and also you might have to spray paint it. Next is chemistry so you can work out what type fuel and oil and all the other liquids that go into the car are. thirdly is physics because it will help you when you are making the cars you have to figure out what will happen when the car is driving for example if the car is to light and you go over a speed bump the car might sprout wings for a few seconds and fly witch isn't good even if you have small passengers/babies. Lastly is maths so you can work out how much fuel and oil you need for the car.

My holidays

hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about my holidays and what i did. So I went to the botanical Gardens In wellington and my friend Riley came to. We then had some food we bought and then we went to the playground and played for five seconds because it was boring and wasn't even fun because there was so many other children there and there weren't even many things to play on so we walked back to my parents and found out they were gone but then we found them and asked if i could go to Riley's house for two nights and they said yes only because i had to go to the movies with Riley. so we had a sleep over and on the second day we went to the movies to see pixels it was pretty cool. Then the next week i went to Fraser's house and stayed for a few hours and we went to the dairy. Then the next day I went to Riley's house again and stayed a few hours and then left. Two days later I had Fraser and Oliver over for a sleepover at my house for my party and we went to the Weta caves and that was fun we got to go on the tour and see what stuff was made of and what type of cars and guns were made of and stuff like that. (The amour you see in movies are actually hard plastic). Then on Friday I had Riley come over and sleep over at my house. Then on Sunday/the last day of the holidays we went on a bike ride and stopped at my neighbors house. Well that's it for today folks see you next time.        

last week of the term

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about the last week of the term and what I'm doing for the holidays. So in the holidays we have my sister coming down from Masterton to stay with us for the two weeks. I will also stay home and not do much other than play on my trampoline, watch T.V and eat and sleep. Its also my birthday on the 26th of September yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay but I'm not having a party I'm having a quiet year because my bro got a massive expensive birthday this year. I am also gonna try cooking as much as I can for breakfast lunch and dinner I will not be able to cook for my family all holidays but I will try to cook as much as I can. and that's all for today folks I will see you next time.    

2 art pieces

Hello and welcome back today I'm going to talk about two of the art pieces I did for art week they are the runway and the Angry birds because they are the best pieces of art we did and are my favourite. The runway took us from week 3 to week 8 and the angry birds were one week to do. The runway is awesome because it's on the whole back Wall and is very detailed with the shops and houses. The angry birds were fun to make we made a little group and Frankie was the leader he gave us all birds to trace. But I drew mine because you can't a YouTube video so I drew what it told me to draw witch was the blues the little birds that turn into more and smash everything. So my favourite poem and the best is my limerick that I put a lot of effort into it goes like this: there once was an oversized bug who named himself Doug he liked to drink Nectar but then killed his friend hector by feeding him to a pug. Favourite artist

Hey guys and welcome back and today we are going to talk about my favourite artist and his art. So my favourite artist is Leonardo da Vinci because he invented the first plane even though he didn't build it. But my favourite painting from him is the Mona Lisa because it was well drawn and there are lots of details. The Mona Lisa is pretty old it was made in the 1500s and is one of the best paintings in the world and is also my favourite painting. In room 8 /the best class ever is doing a sky theme for our art exhibition in week 8 on Thursday if you like you can come and see it if your not in st benedicts. Regional sports festival

Hello and welcome back today we are going to talk about regional sports fest this Wednesday. So on Wednesday we are going to ASB sports centre for sports fest if anyone doesn't know what sports fest is its basically when a lot of schools around Wellington go to lots of different places to play different sports. The sport I'm in is dodge ball boys team. My team is really good we have lots of good catchers and throwers in our team. BUT!!! The rules of the game are much different from ours and basically every rul is horrible like if you deflect a ball with a ball that your holding and you drop the ball your out and if you deflect a ball and the ball you deflected hits one of your team mates then your team mate is out and if someone from the opposite team throws a ball and it bounces and then hits you your out. Like I said these rules suck but that's life I guess and I'll just move onto winning the best in Wellington. Well that's it for today folks have a good week.😎

The New NZ Flag

Hi guys welcome back and today we are going to talk about the debate of changing the NZ flag if I was john key I wouldn't change it because its be our flag for ages we had that flag during world war 1 and that battle  was very long and very big that is my first reason the second reason is because that the flag is the best flag in the world other than the pack n save flag witch is very cool but if we were to change the flag I would go for my favourite flag out of the top forty witch is this one below so thats what I would chose but I don't want to change it because its really cool.

Art

Hello and welcome back and today I'm going to talk about art 🎨and what I need to improve. So my favourite art we've done this year is probably our Aztec masks🎭 we made last week. It was fun even though my one looks like it's face is on an angle but I like doing collage even though there is a lot of work to be done and also we had to put Aztec symbols on it. The skills I need to work on are my drawing skills because my drawing always looks like it's on an angle and it's never straight. My ideas  for Art is drawing and then shading animals. Grandparents

hello and welcome back and today I'm going to talk about my grandparents and some memories I had of them. So one of my favourite memories is when my parents got married because all three grandparents held me for the big photo and then carried me away from the fountain that I tried very hard to swim in but couldn't because my grand parents wouldn't let me swim in it. I remember when I was 4 my grandfather took me swimming in the neighbours pool and I used to just swim around until my cousin tried to drown me in the pool lots of times. This year(2015) we had my sisters birthday and we were dancing and my grandmother danced a bit to so did my sister (who was drunk) and my grandfather did a dance to. And my last one was my granddad used polish his guns in front of Souty/Robby Magiseva my auntys boyfriend. That's all for today see you next time!!!!

Hello and welcome back today I'm going to be talking about my two week holiday. Ok so first school finally ended and I went back to my house where I went onto my trampoline and just jumped around for an hour then I had some food and watched a movie. the next day I woke up and when I looked at my watch and it was 10:00 o'clock am and I was happy to know that it was the first day of the holidays so I just slept in for a bit more. I woke up so we went out and got my sister and went to the mall to have lunch and do girl shopping for mum and aleshia they got basically the whole mall. After that we had lunch and was nice then we went home and I just sat down and watch TV and did nothing for a few hours then we had dinner and went to bed the next week we went out and did some cool stuff at the mall we got a few things and I got a necklace and my sister got lots of cloths and some cloths rings and a necklace for her friend in Masterton the last day of the holidays was pretty cool because we first woke up and got into fancy cloths and went to yum Cha to celebrate my aunts birthday and we gave her present to her and she loved it was a candle holder in the shape of a flower with three candle holders going up the flower next we went to go see aleshia how she was doing with her aunt she was fine after that we went GO KARTING!!!! It was fun just I couldn't go fast because they made me use a cadet kart instead of an adult kart but I lost against dad and my bro because they were in a two seater kart and it was an adult kart so I got lapped 5 times and I couldn't go fast because the pedals only went down an inch so it took forever to go fast after that we went home and Jayden and I got these digging games where you dig up plastic bones and put them together and I got a mammoth Jayden got a stegosaurs but hasn't put it together yet after that we had dinner and had to go to bed early awwwwwwwww!!! and that's my holiday thanks folks and see you next time😎😎😎😎😎😀😀😀😀😐😑🏀🏈🏉🎧🍦🍩🍔😋🍩😋🍑😋🏆😋🌝🎧😑😀😎😐🌚🏀😶

Narinville

Hey guys and gals welcome back and today we are going to be talking about Narinville and what skills I've been learning there. So the skills I've learnt are Rippa rugby and rugby skills we have learnt not. To lob pass but short quick passes to each other and also learnt different games like ten passes were you have to pass ten times to your team mates with out getting intercepted if you get intercepted the other team gets the ball. That's were the short quick passes come in you have to do short quick passes otherwise you will probably get caught so then you have to try intercept the ball and get it back. After that we played a torment and my team won by on try. Then we learnt soccer skills BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because we had to play ten passes with a soccer ball and you have to roll the ball and that is like touture because it's easy to intercept and hard to get ten passes. Then we finally got to play a torment of soccer and it was boring because one I never got the ball and two it was soccer I HATE soccer because it's horrible I tried it one year and thought it would be fun but then on my first game we had to play with adults on the field and that was horrible then we had to run up and down the field 14 times because we lost by far the score was 14-0 and for 6 year olds that is really good for them to score that many goals in 40 minutes. German

Yo guys and gals welcome back and today I'm going to tell you about german and what I've learnt. This term I have been learning about German and what they do or did over there. The worst thing I heard was that they built a wall that went right through Germany and if you were caught climbing over it you would die. But then a year later the took down some of the wall but not all of it because they wanted to remember the people that tried to climb it but they never made it. Now you can cross it with Eas just by crossing through a gate that's right in the middle of  Germany. Germany also have really good ice cream parlours that sell sundaes the size of  a basket ball and it would take someone ten minutes to eat it but if you have a group it would take about one minute. I also learnt how to count to 100 and how to say how old are you? or how are you?. You can learn to drive at 16 but have to go for your full licence at18 🚗 and your allowed to drink at 18 but you are allowed to have heavy Achohloe at 21🍺🍻. Hey guys welcome back and today I'm going to tell you about our school values Empathy integrity perseverance and creativity also known as EPIC. This week I was creative When I was at home working on my maths and I couldn't figure out a very hard question and I used a creative way to work it out. I also used perseverance by when I was playing basketball today at school I was chasing my friend and he is faster than me so I thought I couldn't get the ball  he school values and pushed hard and I got the ball off him and then I scored a goal. In your spear time I recommend you to get this book out .NOW!!! If its already taken then reserve it or get it out from your local library. Responsibilities around school

Hey guys it's Jesse and I'm here to talk to you about the responsibilities I had at school this year. This year I am a sports monitor. And what you do is you go to the sports shed and you unlock the door and take out the Pe kart. You then have to stay out by the Pe kart all mornining tea and lunch. Once the bell goes all the people on the courts leave you have to get all the equipment off the courts into the kart and get it into the Pe shed once you do that you sprint into class just in time for the 5 Minute bell. I enjoy being a Pe monitor Its fun and i like sports and I help young kids find what they need and they enjoy playing with stuff.

ASB litiracy and ways to earn money$

YO! guys its Jesse I'm here to talk to you about who came into my class and told us some really good ways to earn money so if you wanted to you could use some of my tips. Today at school we had a person from ASB come in to talk to us about money and how to save and spend and how to get lots of money. So first I'm going to talk about how to earn money. Now if you really need a pay rise you should ask your parents to give you chores and also ask if they will give you money for it. Now what I do is wash my parents cars each week and I get ten dollars a car if you want more money than ten dollars a week than wash more than one car a week wash all the cars that you have. if you only have one car than do this go to your neighbours house and ask if you can wash their car and charge money ten dollars is probs the max amount of money you will get from your neighbours but its still getting you money. Another way you could earn money is mowing your lawn of your neighbours lawn and you could get like $20 if its a big lawn if its small than it will be $10 or less. the last way you could earn money is have a garage sale or boot sale or yard sale that gives you a lot of money but for sales like that you gonna have to put up signs. when your choosing a sign go for very bright colours that attracts lots of attention so you can get lots of people to come and buy stuff. Now if you have enough money to buy what you want and have some extra don't just use it but save it, it could come in handy. I have a finical goal I want to save up for an afl ball they are really cool and fun to play with. and my parents say I'm great with my money and I spend it well I'm great at saving my money. and that's it for today guys see you next time :)      

mission fair 2015

Hi its Jesse here im here to talk about the 2015 mission fair that saint benedicts had it was AWESOME!!!.
Unfortunly we where on the courts so we didnt make enough money but we made drumroll please $41.70 thats like a record for a stall thats ever been on the courts. But we have to give Mr Cuningham the credit because im pretty sure he sent all the little kids down to the courts for us. We nearly sold out our lollies because people kept buying the nerf gun shootout and they where really good at aiming with the nerf gun. Once we where on the last packet of lollies we where only on five lollies away from running out of lollies until the bell rang to stop. So i had to carry the 15 kg cooler up the hill and my back and arms where dead for the rest the day. and thats the mission fair 2015  

ANZAC DAY 100 years

Saturday 25th april marked 100 years since WW1. I learnt that 2779 New Zealand soliders died in golipolie turky. Im here to talk about WW1

The way i got to celebrate ANZAC day was going to the AFL game St Kilda vs carlton. I got to run out onto the feild with the players and stood there for all the anthems and trumpet playing and the mouments of silence to remeber the ANZACS that fought all over golipolie and France. I learnt that they fought not just in golipolie but all over the country. I also learnt that war was way worse than i thought. The trenches are way smaller than i thought they are just a long line that goes through the ground and its so thin except for the under ground trenches. they had fist fights when some of the enemy's came into the trenches of the enemy and beat them with clubs until they died. the soilders used there helmets to see where the enemy was hiding and would jump up to shoot them.

EOTC WEEK

Hello people Jesse again welcome and today I'm going to tell you about EOTC WEEK!!!!


EOTC week was awesome we did lots of fun activities all the parents where helpful and the teachers where nice one even gave me a piggy back ride cause my feet where sore. My favirote thing to do was rock climbing because it was challenging and fun at the same time. The day sailing was canceled we went to tepapa and saw the big squid and the plane exbhits and I enjoyed every thing

Liam is a funny person and a really good sportsman he is a really good friend here's why.

Liam is a very funny person he tells good jokes he makes really funny rhymes and makes up random sentences. He also does funny actions that are really funny a start to cry. And in games he does really funny things like when he kicks a ball it could rebound and wack him in his nose.

Liam is the best sports person I know he is great at cricet one time we where playing cricket me and him where the batters and when he bat I didn't bat for ages cause he kept on smashing sixes. He is also great at rugby he is fast enough he is very skilled while running and he is like the god of getting try's because he is like a machine he gets so much try's for his team it isn't funny.

afganistain

Hey guys what is up its me Jesse and today im going to tell u what I learned about my country I got put with Afganistain

Afganistains cricket team  are doing very well in the icc cricket world cup 2015 but its a fact that nz will win because we are the best anyway back to afganistan they will become a very good team and who knows they might win the next world cup

in concluision I think that Afganistain is a pretty good team and they happened to inspired me to do some cricket with my class mates  

go karting

very fast go kart top speed 110km

hey guys its Jesse the awesomely awesome I'm here to talk about My favourite thing to do karting it's really fun. I'm going to be in the karting club at upper hutt raceway. My friend Fraser is also in to go karting. When I go karting I win (as usual) it's something that takes up time that I don't need or use.

In march 2015 I get to go into the karting club but I have to buy a kart, licence, gear, fuel. spear tires and a spear steering wheel it might come in handy. and if you have a go kart u must have mechanical skills luckily I have them. When I'm in the karting club I will go into the tourment and win as normal.

Here's a tip for all the starters of go karting when u are speeding along then u brake take your foot off the acelarator and then brake otherwise you will steam your kart meaning you will ruin your tires that's why u need spear tires it would help so u don't waste money. tip 2 u need to put your kart on a stand turn it on and put your hand on the go pedal for a minute to warm up your kart then when your about to race fill up your gas tank with fuel and you will be ready to race:). When your racing remember tip one to try not to steam your kart here's tip three: try to drift around sharp corners what u do when u drift. u speed up then you turn as far as the wheel will go and stamp on the brake keep your foot on the brake until your past the corner then put your foot on the acelarator (make sure u don't have your foot on the brake). And u might have a chance of winning.
